Bio

During her 40-year career, veteran child welfare leader and visionary philanthropic executive Marva Hammons has served in leadership positions with the Colorado Department of Human Services, Michigan's Family Independence Agency, the Denver Department of Human Services, and New York City's Human Resources Administration. In 2007, Hammons joined Casey Family Programs as its first managing director of Strategic Consulting where she helped lead the foundation's partnerships with state and local child welfare jurisdictions to improve outcomes for children and families. She went on to become the executive vice president for Child and Family Services in 2010 and held this position until her retirement in 2021.
