Bio

During her career, Tracey Webb made numerous contributions and held a strong commitment to Black Philanthropy. Long before there was Voice. Vision. Value., there was the blog Black Gives Back. As founder and editor-in-chief of Black Gives Back, Tracey dedicated her talent as a skilled writer and storyteller to document, inspire and uplift the impact of Black Philanthropy nationally (Black Gives Back ran from 2007 to 2015). She is also the founder of Black Benefactors, a giving circle with a mission to enhance the well-being of Black children, youth, and families by encouraging philanthropy, community service, and advocacy in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Since its inception in 2017, Black Benefactors has distributed close to $200,000 to Black-led organizations (Black Benefactors will sunset in 2022). Thank you Tracey for inspiring so many of us with your advocacy for Black-led philanthropy and investments in Black-led organizations. Your leadership legacy is celebrated and deeply appreciated.
