Bio

Passionate leader and activist, Diana Wilson served as President and CEO of Faith Partnerships Inc. Her mission is rooted in the idea that the poorest families can be helped through the collaborative efforts of faith-based organizations. A former Robert F. Kennedy Fellow, Wilson worked with the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Foundation and the N.A.A.C.P. Legal Defense and Education Fund to investigate school desegregation in the early 1970s. She also worked with coalitions of religious groups seeking to address issues of equity and economic justice. Wilson served as a foundation officer for The Youth Project and was an early member of ABFE. She completed a ten-year appointment to the North Carolina Child Care Commission where she also served as Chairman. As for international endeavors, Wilson was President of the International Women’s Club of Liberia, an affiliate of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs. Looking back on her career, she is most proud to have formed a diverse network of women that came together to explore Faith, Feminism, and Philanthropy.
