As an institutional history maker, The Skillman Foundation serves as a voice for Detroit’s youth and works to strengthen K-12 education, after-school learning opportunities, and college and career pathways. Since 2004, the foundation has had three, consecutive Black women serve as CEO. Carol Goss, 2004 to 2013, Tonya Allen, 2013 to 2021, and Angelique Power, 2021 to Present.
